Deshawna, we as Realtors are prohibited by law from discussing crime stats with you, but I CAN direct you to my website to view the charts and graphs on your own. Just enter any zip code you want to research. You can also compare two (2) zip codes. School data is there too.

You can also search for homes and save them directly on my site. Call me if you want to discuss what the next few steps in your home buying process should be.

Marissa depends on how much you want to pay for rent, then purchase a home. It could be from Ardmore, Lower Merion, Manyunk all the way out to Exton, West Chester area. The further North and West you go the more affordable. Contact us as we can email free rental listings to you so you can get a good idea, what's out there and the prices the owners are asking.

Hope to hear from you,

Based on your description of yourself, I suggest Newbold. More access to more amenities or a better investment because it is a smaller neighborhood that is moving up faster.. High walk score. Good public transportation and the Passyunk Corridor just blocks away. I can show you a few listings there and what they neighborhood has to offer that will probably make you forget about Port Richmond. Call or email: 215 500 2981 or ... more

Yes. These types of buildings are often available. they are called mixed use and usually C-2 ccommercial zoning. From commercial you typically need a 25% down payment and the term of the mortgage is usually less than 30 years-- maybe 20 or 25. Call me if you want to discuss further. Carol Diament 215-260-1359.

You should talk with a real estate attorney and a title company. There may be loans, liens, or others who have a claim to the house and without a title search you don't know what you are buying. Then you will want to make sure that the transfer is clear of all liens and title is recorded properly. ... more
