Why are you out the months rent. You have possession and a lease. What does the lease say about foreclosure. A foreclosure and an eviction are two different things. Unless there is a problem with your lease you could start looking for a new place but don't move out unless evicted. I recommend you contact a Lawyer now at the least, take part of next months rent and pay a lawyer then to to review your lease, and to review any eviction notices you my receive between now and then.. ... more

You need to be sure that the $1,400 is the total amount that is available for your rent only? Or is your voucher $1,400 including utilities. Check with your worker to be sure. Most times the rent includes your utilities and they account for about $300-$400 of the $1,400 leaving you with only $1000-$1100 for your rent.

I suggest looking for a rental home that is not in the hands of a real estate company.Owners handling the property his/her self may be more lienient.If tgat does not work then a co-signer would be a good choice.

Why would someone rent to someone who has a history of bad credit unless they can prove otherwise unless it was a place where no one else wanted to live and the owner was desperate.

We in the real estate world are also suspicious of someone wanting to pay a year in advance.

That usually means there is something wrong.
