The property is currently listed for $209,900 and the person purchased the property for $129,000. That's only a $80,900 difference. It also shows a settlement date of November 2002. However, I think that it's incorrect and should show as 2003. So it's either 7 or 8 years.

I think that given a typical economy, this place would have been priced properly. With that being said and not knowing what improvements that may or may not have been made, I think this property may only be $20K or so off the mark.

Keep in mind opinions are often suggestive and what may be good for one is not necessarily the case for another--If you are not familiar with the area, do drive through the neighborhood more than once and at different times of day, look at everything that important to you, visit shops, dine at a local eatery, chat with locals etc.--as for safety--your best source of information is the local police department, call/visit and ask all your questions--then make your own determination, will your comfort level be reached. ... more
