Most agents in my company work in the South Hills. Here is our website: www.ppmrealty.com. You can find info on individual agents under the "meet our team" tab under "contact us". I suggest you start by speaking with Reed Pirain. He is definitely an expert in that area. ... more

Try calling Arbors Management as they handle a lot of rentals. But unfortunately most rental listings are not put into the multi-list system in the Pittsburgh area so you may find yourself checking with various sources (agents, owners, etc.).

Good luck

I can help you if you are interested in purchasing but if you are looking to rent Arbors Management may be a broker to call. Also check some of the websites like Craigslist but be very careful as there may be scams. Unfortunately most rentals are not put onto the multi-list so you may have to contact numerous places. Also rentals are currently at a premium as there are not many available. If you are thinking of buying, with interest rates as low as they currently are, you may find that the monthly payment to own is less then to rent. ... more

This is the address of the Sales and Leasing office of the Summerset at Frick Park neighborhood.

There are properties for sale on Parkview Blvd that claim to have both public and school transportation. I would contact the leasing office at 412 422 1144 to confirm what transportation is available. There may be school buses running in the neighborhood, but the nearest bus lines are at Forward and Beechwood Blvd or on Browns Hill Rd, which could be a considerable walk. ... more

Virginia Stump answered:
To fix credit problems, go to a reputable organization such as Advantage Consumer Credit Counseling Service: http://www.advantageccs.org. Stay away from consolidation loans (unless the interest rate is very low) and shaky companies that are advertised on daytime TV or the internet. Start out by making sure your rent or mortage is paid on time, followed by your car payment. Those are the two most important bills to pay because they provide a roof over your head and a way to get to work. Follow that by paying down credit cards--especially the ones with the highest interest rates. Some credit cards charge you 15 to 25 cents for every dollar you borrow! The best way to use a credit card is to pay it off in full every month. Once your credit score is above 640, then you might consider a home purchase since current rates make buying a better deal than rent. ... more

We do not know the terms of your Contract.
We do not know the Seller, or his despiration.

When you have this happen, there are three options:

You negotiate with the Seller,
You accept the house As-Is and do the repais yourself
You walk away.

It sounds like you have a good Realtor advising you; what do you need us for?
