Moving,
Laws prevent agents from recommending or "steering" buyers to or from one area over another. Since agents can't make suggestions, my recommendation would be to visit the area, meet some locals and get impressions from them. Before you buy a specific home, I also recommend you meet your neighbors. If you have the Hatfield’s on one side and the McCoy's on the other and they are feuding with each other across your potential backyard, you want to know before you are committed to buying there. ... more

Hi Kidman
The city of Buffalo is a wonderful place to live! There is culture, diversity and great schools. The Elmwood district meets all your needs. I'm sure your friends place is nice, I would consider keeping all options open. Please visit our website at www.wnyadvantage.com or shoot me an email.

The community pulls together to keep the area thriving and desirable. I used to live on Lafayette just west of Elmwood and I miss it very much. ... more

I don't know if anyone can anwser this question. It's all a matter of opinion, and what are you comparing it too. There are people that make a ton of money and there are some that don't make as much as they should. Thats probably the same in any city. According to the news we are one of the most affordable places to live and buy a home in the US, and that's based on Income not just the price of homes. I love living in a suburb of Buffalo. I don't know if this helps at all, but it's the way I see it. ... more
