The median price for a single family house in Yonkers last year sold for $503,875. The median price for a single family house in 10710 (where Beech Hill is located) sold for $515,000. But, please note that you have a WIDE variety from which to choose. Some are very inexpensive, some require Oprah money.

Check the link. If you require a specific house with fences for the dogs, there is no substitute for the legwork. Pictures will not do your search justice. If you need a realtor, please call me.

ANYTHING in southern Yonkers is looking good right now. The area you are talking about has already undergone a considerable transition, but the downtown of Yonkers has held things down. With Yonkers front and center in development, it is a great area to invest in. Just be advised that this will take some time. you need to hold pat for about 4-5 years to really reap the benefits. Also, never buy the "best house on the block" - buy something more modest and improve if you really want to "invest" in the area and reap rewards. ... more
