While I am not a real estate agent/broker my guess is they are using Microsoft Outlook and syncing that their phones. In the office, I use Outlook to manage my daily schedule whether it is meeting new clients to sign loan disclosures or having lunch with a realtor. Luckily we use Microsoft exchange and I am able to sync my Outlook calendar with my awesome myTouch 4g Android phone.

In the past year I have also discovered the full potential of Microsoft Outlook and its ability to just manage my contacts and calendar.

I love the iPhone. I originally bought it when it first came out. I recently bought a new one. The only reason I needed a new one was because the camera broke. The camera on the iPhone takes much better pictures than my Nikon. I have both gmail and aol email accounts on my iPhone as well as my company email. ATT service is good. It is much better than my previous provider Sprint. The Corcoran Group, my broker recently did a consumer market report from a poll on our website. The majority of respondents not only use an iPhone as their main mobile device, but they have over 40 apps on them. The Corcoran Group Real Estate has a fabulous iPhone app too.

I would check with the managing agent for the building and see if they require any particular lease. There is most likely also going to be an application since it is a coop. It may state in that application what kind of lease they will need you to submit and any other rules and regulations they have for tsubmission and for the potential renter. ... more

If you have a Realor, have them do this for you through an MLS. Should take all of 10 seconds.

If you don't, you may have to rely on public records. Check to see if your community allows you to search public records on line. If not, a trip to town hall and a small fee should get you there. ... more

Contacting a Manhattan Realtor is the easiest way. I do this for my buyers and renters. I would be happy to do this for you.

Another way is to keep tabs on the internet, but if you want "real-time" changes of what's coming on the market in the building, I would contact a competent Realtor. ... more

Try Miller Samuel and The Real Deal. Honestly, is this question in conjunction w/ your own apt. search? With all the different co-ops in the city, it's easier to pick a particular building and then speak to a Realtor about the average maintenance increases and assessments in that building. ... more

Wayne, Most agents in New York do not charge a fee to buyers. The seller pays the fee at the closing. In New York I don't think it makes a difference domiciled or non domiciled. I believe non domiciled refers to UK taxes. If your non domciled or living abroad you are exempt from UK taxes. In NYC everyone pays real estate tax doiciled or non domiciled. You shuld check with a tax soecialist. ... more
