You will want to assess if your home is still under any warranty from the builder and if the window itself is warrantied. If you are in a new home you will want to try and follow that builders warranty terms to make sur eit is covered, if you are not under any warranty check the window manufacturer itself, is it the window malfunctioning or the installation of it, if it is installation the manufacturer may not be able to help. In that case you will need to call a local window contractor for an estimate and an opinion of what caused the problem. You will proabibly have to pay upfront, but if you want to have any recourse, keep pictures, maybe a couple of estimates, receipt for paymemnt and anything in writing you can from different contractors of what cused the proble. good luck working things out ... more

Troy Towers is a pretty unique building. While not exactly the same, a few alternatives worth looking at would be Gregory Commons, The Thread, and The Doric. Because it's a Co-Op though, Troy Towers will give you a little more bang for you buck then these other buildings will.

I hope these suggestions are helpful. If you have any additional questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Priscilla: NJ has so much to offer you. However there is quite a bit of distance between NYC and Atlantic City. You can learn about the specifics of each county by going to www.justjerseyrealestate.com plus read the school reports and learn more about each of our 21 counties. When you narrow it down (it seems like you are considering northern NJ) I'd be happy to dicuss the different area with you and find I local agent to help you wherever you choose. Good luck to you and don't hesitate to contact with anytime with your specifc NJ real estate questions. I'm happy to help.
