The complex owns four units here. There is only one owner that is registered as owning two units and they are not adjoining each other. My guess would be that two units have not been combined to make one as of yet, however, it does not mean that you cannot accomplish that if it is your wish to do so. A review of by-laws for the complex regulations would be very helpful.
Hope that helps

Most likely it is because the owners have not been willing to negotiate to the extent that most buyers have offered. The $41,000 tax price may have something to do with it, as compared with other homes in Greenwich that are available. My guess is that it also suffers from market was reduced once during its history from $6,228,888 to it's present price of $5,295,000. Just guessing..... ... more

How about pricing a house competitively? :)

Seems to me if a house is priced right (based on location, condition, etc) , that's the only incentive a buyer needs.

Presumably, the street is a Westport street, yet the house itself is located in Norwalk. I don't think it will do any good to petition it, but you can try calling the Board of Ed. You can also ask them about the possibility of paying to attend the Westport schools, if you'd be willing to do that. ... more

Hi Amelia,
Thanks for your inquiry. There are often houses for rent at the beach in Westport. If you tell me if you are thinking short term or long term; furnished or unfurnished, I can email the appropriate currently active listings to you. Then we can go and see the ones that are of interest to you. I can send you everything available or if you want to put a ceiling on list price, we'll narrow it down to that criteria. Please let me know your further thoughts. ( -- 203-451-3455. Thank you.

Meg - there are currently 36 three bedroom rentals in Westport ranging from $2200 per month up to $5750 per month (on the Greater Fairfield County Multiple Listing Service). There are also a few summer only rentals for considerably higher rents. Do you require a specific location in Westport ? Are you looking for a single family home or condo to rent. I'd be happy to help you find what you're looking for.
Best regards,
Jayne M. Lagano
