Hi Scott,

Niki from Trulia here. The listing at 37 Veterans Terrace is currently showing status "unknown".

I see you manually submitted this listing data to our site. In order to have current and quality listing data we require you update your listing or refresh the listing every 30 days. I see this listing in your "my listings" page in the "unknown" section. You can click in the status to the right of the address and update your listing to "active" to indicate that this listing is still on the market.

This should allow the listing to appear in Trulia mobile app search results. We would be happy to help you with your listing or any other questions. Please feel free to contact us at or by calling 1-888-466-3501, Monday - Friday 7am to 4pm PST.

Hi Renee!

Carol here at Trulia. You can share listings with friends by using your "Homes I am Following" page.

When you find a home on Trulia that you'd like to keep track of, click on the 'Follow Home' button to save that property to your account. You'll be able to refer back to it in the Homes I'm Following section of your account, where you can manage email alerts for each of your saved homes, take notes, and more.

When you are in the Homes I'm Following page, hover over the listing you want to share and you will see options at the bottom of the listing including: Compare, Manage alerts, Map. Find recommended agents and More. Click on More and you have the option to Send to a Friend or Share on Facebook.

At the upper right top of the list of homes are 3 options, one of which is "Share All" if you want to share all the homes at once.

Thank you for using Trulia!

There are several websites that help you in renting out your own property such as Zillow, Plaza Estates property sites and so on where you can list your home easily.

The cost for a basic level listing isn't too expensive, and with one or two rentals even a top-tier listing will pay for itself fairly quickly. They also allow you to offer specials, such as last-minute booking discounts to fill gaps in your calendar. You may want to consider Craigslist's Vacation Rental section as well.

Your location will not prevent you from getting a mortgage. However, it will prevent you from getting a mortgage as an owner occupant. You may be able to qualify for a second home mortgage, if it is a vacation home or an investor loan if you are intending to rent it out.

A mortgage for a second home will not have a higher interest rate. But, you will not qualify for FHA, VA, USDA, etc. You will have to get a conventional loan and you can usually do so with as little as 10% down.

It will be based on your credit score, your income and the debt to income ratio.

Typically the only way to find the selling agent for a property is through the MLS provided the property was listed with a brokerage.

Hi Marion,

Here are some homes that fit your description:

Rent: 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom homes for rent in Hopewell, VA:

For Sale: Here is the only 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom home for sale in Hopewell, VA:

If you were willing to look at homes with more than one bedroom and bathroom you will find a lot more homes that may still be in your price range and work just as well for you, if not better.

Can I help you with anything else?
