Hmmm, That is a TOUGH Question!! It depends on what you want to eat.

I like the Chop House (for steaks), Da Boyz Pizza and Pasta (The Ambiance in the downtown location is my favorite, but the food at both locations is YUMMY), Market Wine & Bistro, River City Grill and Ciao Bella for finer dining. Hunter Steakhouse is good, too but the steak at the Chophouse is the best. It is just a friendlier more home style restaurant. I like Daybreakers Cafe in the Foothills for Breakfast 24/7. The Garden Cafe downtown open until May is also a Favorite for Brunch on Sundays and Breakfast & Lunch other days. Mexican food is best at Los Heraduras, Mi Rancho and La Fonda. Steiners Deli is also a favorite.

In the winter time we also have several food Vendors that open up just in the winter time in a parking area and in the Swap Meets. THEY are excellent!! Still under the Health Department Regulations so they are regulated. My favorites are the Thai place and the Taco stand in the Foothills off of Fortuna near Walgreens.

We also have a number of chain restaurants as well that are outstanding- Ah-So Sushi and Teppenayki, Olive Garden, Chillis, Red Lobster, Applebee's, Cracker Barrel, Mimi's Cafe, Kneaders Bakery and Deli, and a Number of Fast food joints, too. one you may recognize is A&W our A&W is combined with a KFC in the Foothills on Fortuna.

I know that is a lot of info, but Food is one of my favorite things so I could go on forever on the subject. I hope that helps! Always it when in doubt. :~)

Hi there,

I live in Ballard and it is definitely the hottest market within Seattle. There has been tons of revitalization and construction going over the last few years. Spectacular natural setting, eclectic and youthful ambiance, charming local stores and now, foodie’s paradise! Are you looking to relocate to Ballard? I would love to hear more about what you are looking for and how I can be of help. Thank you very much for your time and I look forward to hearing from you!

The food. Oakland has the fastest growing foodie spot. The food places are usually next to a local lounge where you can pop in and have a few good drinks with local music.

Old Oakland has been that hot spot plus its a few blocks from 12th street bart station. If you go up more - You're in Uptown Oakland - very close to another Bart Station. Another great food and lounge area. I can go on...

I usually tweet about these type of places in Oakland - @mrbardales . Also, I am from San Francisco and now live in Oakland. Its not what they think!

Not being a film fanatic, I didn't know that SXSW was a film fest. Hope they have more than just those 4 letters in their promos if they want to their grow interest to the non-informed . Film festivals are usually a niche market and they don't usually spread out.

I've lived in other areas that had these festivals and if you asked locals who lived within a one hour drive, they wouldn't even know there was a festival. One time I had a full set of passes for a 4 day event and I had trouble finding someone who was interested in going.

Since it's Spring Break & St. Paddy's day both the town and the ski slopes should be buzzing. We are supposed to have beautiful weather so come up and enjoy a great day of spring skiing! The resort is having lots of fun events including a costume contest and there is also lots of fun to be had at a couple of the local Irish pubs.

Please contact me if you have any more questions (real estate related or not). Hope you have a great weekend no matter where you spend it.

There are so many good ones it's hard to make even a short list. Instead of picking the obvious choices like Vermillion, or Landini Brothers, or the fun choices like O'Connell's and Chadwick's, I want to name a few little ones you might have overlooked. I like Sam Phoa Thai, which is probably the smallest Thai place in Old Town. The food there is great. I also like Parsian, another small but great restaurant. Faccia Luna on the South End is another favorite. Caphe Banh Mi is another tiny stand-out but they've almost gotten too popular. ... more

I would recommend Dans Place near exit 5 in Exeter. They have live entertainment and good food. In Charlestown, the pick would be The Cove. They, also, have live entertainment and good food. In the summer months they open the Tiki Hut on the patio and you feel like you are on vacation. In Westerly, I recommend Percs and Corks which has live entertainment too. Right down the street you will find The Malted Barley where many friends gather. Enjoy! ... more

This is not going to be part of the Public Record:
The earliest that anyone would know, if when a NOD, (Notice of Delinquency) was filed; which is the first step in the Foreclosure process.
There are probably 2-3 times as many homeowners who are "underwater" and need help.
Ask a Realtor how many Shortsales and REO's are LISTED, and you could estimate that the total number of "distressed" families is 3-4 times those listings.
This should be good enough for your purposes. Especially since those numbers are constantly changing.
