I see owner financing more often than you would think. Finding them is the hard part, but you want to make sure they will be willing to work with you when you find the right one. Before you contact someone take the time to put together a folder of pertinent information that can be accessed when you need it. Go into it with the mindset that you are applying for a loan just like at the bank.
Remember, you are selling yourself to them, not the other way around. If you find someone willing to give owner financing chances are a few dozen other people have so show them you mean business. Make yourself a "resume" folder and include things like your last 3 months of bank statements, paystubs 2 months back, a copy of your license, your savings account statement, etc. Include anything you can to show that you are reliable when it comes to making payments on time :)... more

In most cases, buildings without washers and dryers are built this way because of the difficulty of putting in the necessary plumbing to accommodate these units. I always say no credit score is far better than a bad credit score. It means you have no debt, which is a good thing. There are lenders out there that will work with no credit as long as everything else looks good.... more
