The winter season is considered in season. That is when the snow birds (northerners) come down to Florida for the winter to get away from the cold weather up North. Some people rent for the winter and others are considered seasonal residents. They live down here from 3 months to 6 months. In season is usually Oct to March. Rates for rentals are much higher during the in season. I would be happy to answer any other questions you may have.

Naples is a great place to raise kids. The schools are great, park systems offer many things to do and the best part is my kids never get sick due to the climate. I have lived in Naples for 30 years now and wouldn't live anywhere else. If you have specific questions please feel free to ge a hold of me and pick my brain.

I would say honesty is the best policy. Tell the listing agent your intention. He/she is paid by the seller at closing.

Your question isvery subjective, what may seem bad to one personmay not even be noticed by another. I woulod say you need to visit the properties several times, speak to other people who live local. Obviously it may also change depending on weather as well, such as wind, humidity, heat etc.

At the end of the day it has tro be your choice rather than what others may think, but if it is worrying you now, consider how others may also consider this issue if and when you come to sell.

Cape Coral, FL is known for its waterfront property. With over 400 miles of canals you won't find an area with more waterfront opportunities. With a range of up to 500k you can purchase an amazing property on the water here.

Give me a call or email me if you would like more information on the area.

Based on what you are asking I think Naples would fit you perfectly. Although there are plenty of places to enjoy the night life, this is not party town. Places such as the Mercato draw in enjoyable night life with lots of people in your age, music, food and drinks.

Mercato also has a lot of good shops including a book store and World Foods. We also have a Trader Joes just north of Mercato. Downtown 5th Street is another great area for shops , good food and music.

As far as enjoying the weather, it's hard to beat Naples anywhere and our beaches are wonderful.

Inventory is low, but it has been that way for the last few years in Fort Collins. It is especially lower in the winter as sellers are reluctant to move during the snowy months. However, there are also homes that have been on the market for many months that were either priced too high and Sellers are getting impatient and need to sell. This is an advantage for Buyers, as there is more room to negotiate. I just showed a home in Wellington yesterday that is easily $10K beneath the market value because the Seller just wants to move on! Do you know the area, and what style of house you are looking for?

As long as you find a lender that is able to write a loan in Texas it really doen'st matter other than being familar with the rules of the state and any local requriements for the loan. If you are starting a new job in Texas and it it in the same field as you are in now that will help with being able to get a loan. They usually want 2 years on the job before you can get a loan but my waive that if you are staying in the same field or with the same company just relocating.

Good luck and enjoy Texas, Austin is really pretty.

Well, it really matters what part of LA you are looking at. In the valley, in Granada Hills (what I like to call the Beverly Hills of the Valley), you can find a nice 5 bedroom house, large with a pool for around $500k. Average price of homes in the valley are well below $400k total. Most of these homes are built in the 80s and 90s, but some of the higher end homes are built after the 94 earthquake so you have more modern choices. Most people buying above $700k are putting large amounts in down payment, that's why they can afford home loans.

If you want to speak with a qualified loan officer about your loan needs, I can recommend Bridgette at WestCom Lending (818) 335-0283 / bridgette4re@yahoo.com

All in all, location is key in finding a home that is for you. Maybe try searching a slight further commute to work to have the luxury home you want. Any questions, feel free to contact me.

Edith Karoline Jasser answered:
You should definitely commit to one Realtor, your personal Buyers Agent not only to find you the right home, in the right location at the right price but for so many other reasons, to find out why read on:

WORK WITH A REALTOR, YOUR PERSONAL BUYERS AGENT
I am wondering why you ask this question here at Trulia, if you are an interested and determined
buyer, you definitely should connect with a local Realtor, a buyers Agent, ie a Realtor who will be on
your side, protecting your interests, finding the right property, arrange showings, answer all your
questions, help you right a good offer, get you also pre-approved for a loan, and negotiate on your behalf the very best sale price and terms and if you commit to one trusted Realtor, he or she will commit 100 % to you and his or her services if you make an offer on a property listed by a Realtor/Brokerage in the multiple listing service will be FREE to you, as Buyers Agents are usually
paid by the seller's side, out of the sellers proceeds at the closing table...ALL THAT IS REQUIRED FROM YOU TO WORK ONLY WITH ONE REALTOR AND TO BE 100 % LOYAL TO YOUR PERSONAL BUYERS AGENT!

Why would you want to do this on your own, when there are so many details to be taken care of the
right way and so many details need to be paid attention to, inspection appraisals, loan commitment, walk thru etc. etc. in order to bring an offer to a fully executed contract and that to successful closing and home purchase.

Give it a second thought and hopefully you will decide to work with a trusted Realtor, who is experienced in your areas of interest. Please commit to only ONE Realtor!! If you need recommendations get back to me I gladly forward you names..
