Some of the legal proceedings on foreclosure cases are public. You can research the status of a case to find out if a complaint if filed, if a judgement is issued, or if a sale date is scheduled. You will not have access to mediation meetings, documents pertaining to loan modifications,, etc. As a tenant, you will be able to find out if there is a judgement and/or a sale date.

Here's an overview of the foreclosure process

Here is a link for renters who may hold leases on properties which are being foreclosed.

Good Morning,

There are no set commission costs, however, the average total commission is about 6% in Las Vegas. Closing costs will vary between 1-3% depending how the buyers offer is written. Feel free to contact me to discuss the costs in more detail.

Hi KK,

In case you can't tell from the responses, this is one of our favorite questions and yes, we all recommend ourselves. You can search agent profiles on Trulia. Each profile gives you access to the agent's information, questions that the agent has answered for other buyers and sellers, and recommendations that the agent has received from clients. Just click on the agent photo to access their profile. Read some profiles and see who might be a good fit for you. Then interview a few agents by phone.

You can search for agents in frisco at: http://m.trulia.com/voices/directory/Frisco-pros--15342. The Pro agents on this list paid Trulia to be at the front of the list, but don't hold that against them.

Good luck on your search for your new home!

Annette Lawrence answered:
The sale of foreclosed homes is dependent upon the buyer having professional representation.
The agent you hire to represent you in this purchase will know how to contact the listing organization. In the overwhelming number of cases their IS NO ONE TO CALL.

You will find it very informative to have a meet up with your agent and discuss this process. If you fail to have the discussion you WILL have improper expectations and will become discouraged. This is serious. Some foreclosed home WILL be sold through a closed process. You will not have the opportunity to even see these homes. The skill to create a competitive bid will prove essential. The right expectations will keep you sane and in the game.

Find an agent who works in Solon Ohio and give them a call....if you are serious.
If you are not serious, you will use that 'contact' link or attempt to send email via Trulia.
Call a local agent, but only if you are serious.

Best of success to you,
Annette Lawrence, Broker/Associate
