I'm very familiar with both. The Oaks doesn't have models, and is older than the bridges. I would take a start at the Bridges as pla new phase just open and there are some nice lots available. Building is a bit behind around 14 months. I can definitely provide you with more information. Feel free to give me a call.

There are a lot of great new subdivisions in Brentwood/Franklin. Which ones are for you depends on what price point, size of yard, and home. The schools are all great. If you provide me what size home and price point, I will be happy to narrow the list for you..

You can reply to this post through Trulia, or directly to me at

The listing you asked the question from is Lake Forest Homes. They are building in an Brentwood subsidivision, but that is the part of Brentwood that is in the Davidson County school system.

Have a great day! Kristen

Wayne L. Brown answered:

I'm sure that within a few minutes you will have plenty of answers from many Realtors. Best bet is to speak with two or three, and make your decision based upon who you feel the most comfortable with after speaking with them.

That said, to be fair, select one, and let them do the leg work for you. Based upon your request for good schools and access to tennis, you might do a Google search as well, getting details on school statistics, as well as tennis clubs. Although, Carlsbad, Ranch Bernardo, and Poway might be a good fit. La Costa Tennis and Golf club is in Carlsbad, and a very nice resort.

Good luck, and let me know if you would eventually like information on financing.

Best Regards,

Its never too early to start shopping. I would suggest that you first start shopping around for a great Realtor who has your best interests at heart and one you can relate to. The market it very hot right now and being that there are multiple offers being given on all properties, a good agent will guide you in the right direction. Also, now is the time to find a good Mortgage Broker and start the process. I would be happy to help you in this regard as well as meet with you. IMO the reason to buy now is interest rates. They currently remain near historical lows. With the economy improving there is talk that the Fed will have to begin to raise rates some time in the future. It is best to lock in 30 year money now.

Steven Sharpe answered:
North Chattanooga is just across the river from downtown and offers a mix of new construction, older homes (1920's-40's, some restored and some not), and condo developments. You can search for the 37405 zip code to see what all might be available in this area. North Chattanooga also is home to Normal Park Museum Magnet school which is one of the most highly rated schools in the district. This area would provide easy access to shopping, outdoor activities, and a variety of restaurants. Many people who live in this area are able to leave the car at home and enjoy the downtown area on foot or by bike. Let me know if you have any additional questions about your potential move to Chattanooga.

You can contact the listing agent who will be able to help you learn more about that specific property (and probably will know a lot about similar properties in the area). To find an agent, just click on the yellow button on the property's Trulia listing and you will be able to start a dialogue.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can help with anything else. I am happy to be a resource for you. Good luck with the search!

Hi Alba,

There are plenty of neighborhoods that would fit what you are looking for. For someone to give you solid advice would require a bit more in depth convo as to what your needs may be.

I'm sure you will get plenty of comments and advice here as to what neighborhoods may be around, but like I said; a more in depth conversation is needed.

Since you are new in town I would be happy to hold that conversation with you and take you along on a tour of Atlanta and what different neighborhoods have to offer.
