Hi Timalice,

Yes it is feasable. There are several housing developments in the Crystal Lake school district where you can purchase a home in your price range. I specialize in the Boynton Beach area selling single family homes and condos. I would be very happy to help you find your new home. The first thing you need to do is get prequalified for a mortgage unless you are paying cash. That way you will know how much house you can afford and when you find that perfect house, you will be able to make an offer right away. Please give me a call if I can be of further assistance to you.

Bart,
Some people are lucky enough that they can afford more than one home at a time, but a majority of people are like yourself and will not purchase a new home until they are able to sell their current home. Once you do get an offer on your current home the key to finding your next home is speed. We have three agents in our group that just show homes, they are online everyday many times a day looking for new listings. When they find a great home, that's when the speed comes in to play. They is always one of my agents that can show you the home right away. Feel free to contact me with any other questions you mat have. ... more

Konstantin,
Since Destin is a vacation area it is going to be difficult to find a short term rental in your price range. You could find something within your budget on a long term lease (12) months, but not short term. With that being said, I would suggest that you check craigs list and post an add as well. There is a possibility that you will find a homeowner who will be out of the area for that time period and may be willing to rent their house/apt/condo. You are welcome to call or email me to discuss further. (850)-337-0789 paul@eimersgroup.com. Sorry I could not be more help.

Hi Kevirose: My clients have told me that Trulia's rental search engine is often the best. But you might want to check out my blog post below for all the websites with reasonably reliable information about current rentals. Note that I said "reasonably reliable." All these sites try to protect you from scams, but the scammers keep coming up with new ways to cheat you. So be careful. If something sounds suspicious, trust your instincts. And take care of your own safety when going to showings.

Dear Sana,

This rental that you are inquiring about is in Century Village, which is an adult community. Are you looking for something furnished or unfurnished? Near FAU there is one unfurnished for $850 and one furnished for $800. From there prices go up to $900.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance. Thank you.

Best regards,

Ross Ellis answered:
Dear NYC Browser,

There is no clear cut answer.

Currently there is so little inventory on the market that it may take you a little longer to find the home you love.

Once you have found the home you love and you have obtained financing and you get all the necessary information to your broker for the board package in a timely manner (you shoud definitely use an experienced buyer's broker), the contract is fully executed by both parties in a timely manner,
and there are no glitches ... generally you can close on an apartment within two months of signing your contract and being approved by the board.

That said, not every deal is the same. Some deals can take longer. Cash deals move faster.

I hope that helps. If I can be of any assistance to you, please don't hesitate to contact me.

I would say people that do not drive should not consider buying a unit downtown where there is no public transportation. Or petition you public transit board to expand their routes.

Angela Schrager answered:
Hi Marcela!

This particular property is under contract and no longer available. It is also an unapproved short sale so, depending on the situation, the price could change and/or it may not be approved by the lender or it could take months and months to get an answer from the bank. However, this doesn't mean that all short sales (or even this one) fall into this situation, it's just something to be very aware of when looking at short sales.

To answer your question, there are no rental restrictions in Woodgate and, in fact, there is a very nice 3/2 waterfront unit with new kitchen, floors, etc. currently available for rent in there listed at $1,750. This will give you an idea of the rent you can anticipate.

Many condo/townhouse communities in the area do have rental restrictions, so it is important to avoid these.

I strongly recommend that you work with an experienced local Realtor who knows the market well. I'd be happy to help you and we'd also be able to help you secure a good tenant once you have your property. Let me know if I can help.

Best of luck and best regards,

Angela
