Hi Sum! I do a lot of work in Hunterdon County, including Clinton. Both properties have their advantages and disadvantages. With a home, their is more potential to fix the home up, expand, ect., for future appreciation. A townhome offers minimal exterior maintenance, recreational facilities and for the same price range the townhome is probably more modernized than a comparably priced single family home.
