I've never seen a 3 bedroom listed in Alameda for this amount

Asked by Cheryl, Sat Jun 9, 2007

What gives? $60K for 3 bedroom condo in Alameda, smells fishy.

yep, i got suckered into that one too. When doing more research I found that the price was more like 600K rather than 60K. Bummer!

There was a link last week but it has since been fixed...

Trust me! I have been a Broker in Alameda for 23 years and born and raised here too, the cheapest price in this city over the last 10 years has been approx. $300,000 (condo).

It's either a typo or a scam. If you can give me any more information I am happy to look this up on the MLS for you and let you know what I find. I know that folks posting on Craigs List sometimes leave of a "0" to make their homes pop up on low-end searches.

Without a link to reference, it would be hard to say. Perhaps there is a zero missing.

Sounds like a typo to me. But you made me curious! Is there a link you can share?
