You ask, "How can I find the days on market for the house I bought in Barrington?"
The following answers should give you the gist of the opinions, but I wanted to add that the actual dates are difficult to pinpoint. In your mind what would constitute the first day the house was on the market? Possibly it was for sale by owner for a few weeks or even months before it appeared in the MLS, so the first day that we Realtors can see may not be the first day it was offered.
The litany is it was listed in June '06 and withdrawn in August '06, then relisted in April '07 and expired in December '07, and then listed again in January '08 and again withdrawn in February '08, relisted in February and was on until you closed in October.
I would argue that the house was for sale the whole time. So I would say the days on market should be in the 840+ days range. Of course the official DOM (days on market) will show as the elapsed time from the last listing (Feb '08) until your offer was accepted, I don't have that date, but let's say it was August 22, 2008. The official DOM will be closer to 180 days.
Ain't statistics wonderful?

I believe your house was first listed on 06/29/2006 and was withdrawn from the MLS on 08/26/2006. It was then listed on 4/24/2007 and expired on 12/31/2007. It was listed again on 01/05/2008 and withdrawn on 02/21/2008. It was then listed on 02/22/2008 and you closed on it on 10/27/2008. This is all from MLS. Let me know if I can help further.
