End your search in the Longmont area. There are a scattering of homes in this range. Large lots with gorgeous homes can be found for the discerning buyer. There is lakefront property. Love acreage with the rare greenhouse. You can find it here.

Here are a few more new listings you might want to check out. MLS #576095, 1510 Bluebell Ave with 3204 square feet in a beautiful Chautauqua Location and totaly remodeled in 2002; or if you prefer an older historic type home, how about 634 Pine Street (MLS #576322), 2304 square foot Red Brick Victorian home built in 1905; or 3540 Longwood Avenue (MLS #576242) totally rebuilt in 2005 with over 3080 square feet, and backing up to open space.

Let me know if I can provide more information on these properties or any others you may have questions about.

I presume that you are referring to unincorporated Boulder County... if schools are your priority, many people in your shoes first consider and look at the Niwot area... more particularly Legend Ridge, Somerset, Quiet Retreat, Niwot Hills for example. (lot sizes are often around an acre). branching out from there, often people look at surrounding areas like Portico, Waterstone - (a bit tough for your mentioned range).

There are many areas in addition to ones I mentioned. Also pay attention to withdrawn properties.. my stance is that if they were once trying to sell, its not to say that they are not still interested in selling!! My credo too is "if you don't ask, you don't get".

Good Luck!

I have an awesome property seach tool that you can use. The website is: Boulder has some top schools that we even ranked on Newsweeks 2008 Top 1,300 Schools Around The Nation, including: Boulder and Fairview. To access the school report cards for these two schools go to the Colorado Department of Education: and type in the school names into the search box.

If you would like help searching for homes, I would love to help you out! Feel free to contact me anytime.
