We just opened escrow on a home. Is it wise to charge anything to our credit cards at this time. (Around 200)

Hello Charlotte,

We always tell our customers to try their best and not make any purchases that are out of the ordinary. Don't start buying furniture in advance, and please don't buy a car, etc...

While $200 doesn't seem like much, everyone's transaction is different and only your lender can truly tell you if it's safe to do so.

Good luck and we hope your purchase goes smoothly!

I think it would be because to consult your lender... There's a lot of factors to consider what kind of loan you have (Conventional or FHA) because your Debt to Income value will vary... Best way to go is ask your loan officer to advice you... Good Luck
