Sanibel Island but my wallet isn't. Please advise me on how to purchase the biggest bang for my buck. I don't mind having to put sweat equity into something I will enjoy for years to come.

Greetings Mary!
Orlando is a great place to purchase a vacation home, and still close to the beaches on both coasts! Currently there are tremendous deals near the theme parks--many short sales and bank owned homes that are super bargains. If you consider this area, please email me at dsmcgarey@cfl.rr.com, and I can send you some listings and information on our area.

Don't over look the Sarasota/Venice area. Amenities of a city with small town charm. Recently voted the "Best Place to Retire" and "Best place to Relocate" the are has a lot going for it including , housing, safety, employment, beaches, climate, social & cultural activities, education, and quality of life.

There are newer 3//2/2 pool homes within minutes of fantastic beaches priced in the low $300,000. Golf course villas priced in the low $200,000. Island fixer uppers priced under $300,000.

This location is worth a look.....

God luck,

Mary, Check out St. George Island before making a choice. We have GULF FRONT units starting in the mid $400,000's. Search our entire MLS from my website or call me. Good Luck!

Hi, Mary, I am from Massachusetts, too, but have lived in Southwest Florida for many years now. But, go Celtics. Go Red Sox. Back to real estate, Sanibel island is nice, but pricey. Have you considered Fort Myers Beach? Feel freel to contact me and I'll be glad to discuss with the area and email you listings.
