Hello, I have not seen any foreclosure prices in this range yet in Duck and Southern Shores. There are some co-ownerships available for this price. I would be glad to set you up with an automatic MLS email which will email you directly when a New MLS listing appears according to your criteria. I look forward to hearing from you.

I specialize in courthouse research for current and upcoming bank foreclosures. While it maybe a challenge finding a home in Duck under $300k - in the MLS - it maybe possible finding a deal at the courthouse. I often find properties of interest for clients and then assist them in the process of bidding and buying at the courthouse - usually at a more favorable price and always before it hits the open market (on MLS). In performing this service, the buyer and I would engage in a Buyer's Agency relationship and I would search the court records and trustee resources twice a week for a home that meets your Duck real estate criteria. You and everyone else. The foreclosures have hit Dare County like the rest of the country - what we are not seeing are the pennies on the dollar values for those homes.
