Why would you list your home on craigslist?
To attract more buyers, right?
So, the more buyers, the more potential to sell at a higher price, because your have more buyers.
Question: If 90% of the time, the buyer sees the home they purchase with an agent, would you exclude 90% of the buyers?
Easy answer, if you knew that , you wouldn't.
Best of luck you.
Is your goal to net the most profit when you sell, or be right?
According to NAR 2006 seller survey, homes listed by agents sold for over $18K more than homes sold directly. I believe in giving back. If the family buying your home needs some help, I salute you for selling at under market. It makes for a stronger America!
If your agent isn't listing your property for you on Craigslist, then you need a new agent.
Second, you're going to want to create an account with Craigslist first so that you can monitor your postings.
