Help the community by answering this question:

Not only is their going to be nightlife and restaurants, you will find other support groups, play groups for children, church groups, and so on. The social scene in The Woodlands goes way beyond nightlife. You will find many outlets of entertainment here.

I spent a few weeks in the Woodlands area, a coulpe summers ago. I loved every minute of it! I saw the Dave Matthews Band at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, went to the movies, and chilled at the library. The Woodlands are great!

The Woodlands is rich in this respect. Lots of fast food places as well as elegant dining. This is a bedroom type community so, while there are night spots they will be outside The Woodlands community

The Woodlands offers a little something for everyone and as you choose whether to dine out or in you will find plenty choices! A quiet evening meal at one of the many restaurants or just sitting and enjoying your dinner on the patio while enjoying an outdoor Jazz performance is just a few of the nightly events! If maybe a quiet evening at the local pub is your choice then you also have plenty to keep you busy! A local pavillion attracts top artists and events at local parks throughout The Woodlands bring the community together to enjoy some musical events while enjoying a picnic or just letting the children play!

The Woodlands is always bustling with activity from the Children's Festival, to concerts in the park, there is always something going on. There has been the addition of several restaurants along the water way to entice people to enjoy the night life that The Woodlands has to offer.

The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is a showplace for performing arts and cultural events. The Woodlands Waterway features a beautifully landscaped link for retail shops, restaurants, and pedestrian walkways.

The Woodlands biggest gem is the 17,000 seat outdoor amphitheater, Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion which is the summer home for the Houston Symphony. Spring through fall 'rock pays for Bach' as numerous headline artists are featured. (Elton John has been here, Cher, Aerosmith, Kiss, Tim McGraw, Mariah Carey, Jimmy Buffett, and the list goes on - something for everyone!! ) Plus The Woodlands has tremendous choices for dining & night life, many of which are in walking distance. The Woodlands Waterway is a linear park which runs through the downtown area, with water taxi's providing both transportation and recreation. This is a community that says WELCOME HOME and ENJOY!!
