Brian: Pssst! Most San Diego golfers are surprised at how relatively affordable membership at La Costa Resort can be--especially when compared to The Bridges at Rancho Santa Fe or Santaluz. The fees are listed below:

Brian: I failed to mention that La Costa also offers corporate memberships and out of area reduced dues and fees.

La Costs gof course is outrstanding, but the the way they run their operation is terrible.

Read the fine print on the contract, not a good situation.

I have heard many horror stories reported by members. I play all the time but sinply pay the daily fee with no contract.. Why would anybody join when the general public can play. It is not a private club,

Ask any member what they think of La Costa. Believe me, you wouldn't join. If you do, make sure that you read ALL of the fine print in the agreement. KSL (part owner and also managers of the property) will absolutely try to cheat you. DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!!!!!!!

Actually there is another option and this one is even more affordable. La Costa now offers a non-share, lifetime (30 yr) membership. Same dues apply and same access as other members. Biggest difference is your $32,500 initiation fee is non-refundable or transferable. Full share members can receive 90% of their initation fee back. Call them up for all the details and see you at the club!
