RealtyTrac creates a great deal of confusion here on Trulia by advertising the estimated value of a lis pendens rather than the fair market value of a listing. RealtyTrac does this so you will part with your money to subscribe to their service.

Good explanation by Dana.
The foreclosure process here in SW Florida as many other places takes about a year to complete as banks are not in any hurry to add another property to their books. If you are interested in purchasing a foreclosure, let me know. I can send you bank foreclosed listings as they hit the market.

This is not a purchase price,it is the amount of an outstanding loan balance. Realty Trac is not a isting site, they publish notices of default& foreclosure from the public records. This house is in LisPendens which is the initial step in the foreclosure process. if & when it does foreclose,it will be listed at market value which will be determined at that time.
