Debi Frazier is a very good agent. She works for Coldwell Bankers. She is good at finding homes that fits her clients specs. She handled everything for us so all we had to do was contact her for updates. She worked really well with our lender and got the things done that needed to be done.

Sure you can go to http://www.charlotte4closure.com. It is designed for people who are specifically looking in Iredell and Mecklenburg Counties...

The best way to get TRUE foreclosures, is to contact your local bank, REO departments, asset managers of mortgage companies, get the list of possible short sales, Clerks office, newspapers, etc.
A local agent can keep you informed of any homes with possible short sale.

Barbara, If you wish to get an idea of what available in your area before you contact an agent to just get an idea of what might be available the Hud link is one place to start..also you can try the public records for any area...

These may help or not, but are worth a look....Dunes

Of course you know that is just the HUD listings and only a small fraction of what is available as far as foreclosures. You will still need to contact either the listing agent or a buyer's agent to view the home.

One of the easiest ways is to contact a local agent. A buyer's agent is paid from the sellers proceeds at closing. We have access to all the listings in our given areas and a good buyer's agent experienced in investment properties is going to know where to look to find the government foreclosure lists. I keep a running list for some of my clients so I suggest you contact someone in Statesville and they will easily be able to help you. If you do not know of anyone I can refer you to a top agent in the area that will have all of this information for you.

Hope this helps,
