Home Selling in Indianapolis>Question Details

Gina, Home Owner in Terre Haute, IN

I live out of state and own a condo outside broadripple area. I need advice regarding selling or renting

Asked by Gina, Terre Haute, IN Tue Oct 14, 2008

The condo is located at Binford Blvd and 56th. My sister is currently living there, but has recently bought a home and will be moving out at the end of October. I am wanting to sell or rent the condo. Due to market, if I rent....is there a good managent company that can be recommended to handle this for me or atleast help me?

I don't know how I missed this question before, so it's probably way to late with my answer.

First thing to do, take a look at http://www.realestatetripleplay.com

My company manages about 400 single family homes and condos in the Indianapolis area(including about 15 in the Broadripple area). Actually, we are the fastest growing property management company in Indianapolis right now.

Other agents, if you do have owners that can't get their home sold, we can get it rented for them and turn back over to you in a few years to get it sold.

Hello Gina,
I will be in the Indianapolis area this week. Myself and a group of investors will be looking for investment properties in your area. If you are interested in selling your condo, we may be interested in looking at it. Please email the details on your condo and also your contact information so we can set up an appointment with you when we arrive on Thurs. Oct. 23. thank you, Kris

If you are open to either renting or selling your condo I would strongly consider hiring an agent to market it both ways at the same time. You will get the benefit of getting dual exposure for your property to a larger population. It's a great way to hedge your bets and is becoming a more popular option for some.

I have a great relationship with a couple of the better property management/ leasing agencies in the area. Feel free to give me a call or shoot me an email and I'll be happy point you in the right direction.

Warmest Regards,

I work with a terrific property management company. They provide excellent personalized service to both the landlords and tenants and really stay on top of things. They have an excellent track record and I would highly recommend them. If you'd like to send me an email at cbreneman@c21rg.net, I will give you their contact information.

Renting is a good option now, we have two condos for sale in Broad Ripple, and had a client rent one instead of purchasing for a 6 month term (rent to buy situation). If your condo is in good condition and your willing to price it according to the market condition you should be able have some success. If you would like to hold on to your investment and rent I could assist you as well. I would actively list it in the MLS system and handle inquiries. Many of our current Sellers are offering both, purchase or lease. You can have it listed as an 'active' listing but also offer lease and see what happens first! If you would like to speak to me or email me directly feel free to, I would be happy to hear from you!
