Hello Kim, the rental in Yucaipa start from $700 for 1bd 1ba apartment, $975 for 2bd 1ba single family residence and up. The purchase start from 119k for 1bd 2ba single family home which is as low as $600 down payment with a minimum 580 fico score @119k.

You should study RENT vs BUY options as you may qualify to buy with minimum out of pocket expenses and pay less than rent in many cities. Your fico scores can be raised within 3-4 days in most cases to qualify for programs, rates and terms as necessary.

Each rental has to be verified if they accept Section 8 voucher program.

You should study RENT vs BUY options as you may qualify to buy with minimum out of pocket expenses and pay less than rent in many cities. If you have been receiving your Section 8 for atleast one year you may qualify for the Homeownership voucher program while owning and paying the same payment as rent.
