I would have at least $15K. You also have to pay your escrow account up front, including 2 months mortgage payment. $20K - $30K is best to have within your price range.

It could cause friction. You should view a home right from the start with a buyer agent, not after seeing it with a listing agent. You can certainly hire a listing agent, but not sure if the listing agent will pay your agent a fee. You will have to discuss that with who you hire and then may have to explain to the listing agent why you saw it twice and then left them hiring a new agent. ... more

Radon mitigation is a subjective issue specific to each buyer. Radon exists naturally (even in the air we breathe). Left to the experts, the physics is rather simple. Influence the air flow from under your foundation with a proper mitigating system and the level will be reduced to below the EPA recommended level of 4 PcL.

Regarding the length of time on the market, this could be for any number of reasons. Usually the price is the reason, but it could be location or condition as well.

Hi, I'm sorry to hear about your difficulty. I am away but will be back in Maine the end of August. If you are still looking by then I will gladly sit down with you, discuss the process, and help you accomplish your goal. I would be happy to help you . Your church can certainly be listed on the MLS as commercial property attracting those buyers. I would also list it as residential in case someone wanted to convert it to a home. There is a beautiful stone church at 48 Old Searsport Rd, Belfast, ME as an example of this. ... more

If you are wanting to get a fence on that property, it would probably be best to check with the condo association. Since it's not a good idea to go against the bylaws, you will want to check to make sure that you are in accordance with them. If you really need to find a way to keep your dogs contained, then you might just try talking to the association. If they say that it is fine for your property, then I think that an iron fence would be a great option, because I've heard that they last very long! http://www.citywidefence.com/fences_iron.php ... more

Yes, someone does know.
Since you will be REQUIRED to be represented by a real estate professional anyway, you should simply call a South Berwick REALTOR and HE/SHE can provide you all the details related to that property including if it is available for sale, has already sold, and if you are using Trulia, if the property was EVER for sale. ... more
