If your question is "should you change the 1/2 bath into a full bath?" then the answer is "I would". This adds value and utility to your property.

You are referring to a different listing. This house is located minutes from grocery, schools, and I-95. It is part of a small family oriented neighborhood.

Hi Dyzart - To answer that question, you have to put it in context. If you mean assessed value, it would mean that market value matches assessed value on average. Hard to do since the market is constantly fluctuating.
But if you expand the question a bit, I will try to give a more thorough answer. Happy 4th!

There is limited parking there in the summer (especially July and August) and even having a parking pass (which I believe is $35.00 for residents now) does not guarantee you a spot. There are a limited number of parking passes for non-residents at a higher rate. (Seniors get a discount.) These can be obtained at the York Town Hall in the Village. There is also metered parking at Short Sands which is not a long walk to Long Sands. (Permits are not valid here!) There are even a few free places beside the small ball field and even more there for permit holders only. October through the winter parking is free and the beach is pretty bare of people. See you at the beach! -Beth ... more

As a rule, I attribute no value to a pool because some buyers want them and some don't and those who don't want them are often adamant about it. An exception to this would be that high-end homes probably actually benefit from having a pool....It seems that the more a buyer pays, the more he/she expects regarding amenities. ... more
