Mindy, if you read further down the post you will notice that is says a "A notice of default" has been filed. That price is nothing but fictitious and it is an ad put in Trulia by Realty Trac. They offer a service at a fee for a list of foreclosure notices. And use this to "fish" for people to pay for their service. The foreclosure notices in most cases never go to foreclosure and may be in this status for 1 year or more. Your best bet is to locate a Realtor for houses actually available - or go to the Franklin County Ohio Sheriff site for the real estate sales. After a property is foreclosed upon they go to Sheriff sale in the county they are located in. You may be able to buy something at the sale. IF the bidder does not meet their minimum value it goes back (sells back) to the lender. I have known them to also bid against the potential buyer. But you still could get a good deal...just not this good a deal.
