Why not consider working with an agent, or check local print media for by owner rentals, always verify ownership before exchanging any money/personal information; word of mouth, etc.

Unfortunately most landlords wont be advertising the houses this far in advance. It can be challenging looking in a popular area that rents quickly, but someone may see this one here.

However, for $1,000/month payment would put you in a nice home to purchase. Have you thought about purchasing a home in the River Ridge District? There are several homes and neighborhoods that would keep you under $1,000 that would also work with your time frame.

If I can be of assistance, you can reach me at 678-266-0723.

Good luck,

We rent a house in your district with all listed above. We'll be moving out end of February. We've lived here 8 years, great landlord. Great neighborhood very friendly people and kids that go to above schools. They'll be updating so not sure when move in would be. Landlord is Larry Cissa phone numbers are 770-490-3518 or 770-517-1068. There's a property manager also but talk to Larry first.
Hope this helps,

A good letter explaining why the score is low if there are reasons beyond your control such as job loss which has been rectified helps as long as you can show an ability to pay thst may help. Accentuate the positive. An owner managing themselves may be more forgiving since most companies have policies in place in order to treat everyone the same. Those will be more strict and less lenient. Best if luck to you. I know it can be frustrating and time consuming ... more

I extend my thanks to Rick Musto and Betty D. Scyphers for answers. To be a little more specific: comparing Canton, Woodstock and Cumming, for a comparable house in similar circumstances be generally less costly in one of the three at this time? I am interested in the factor of demand due to location. For example, what was $300 farmland became $3000 to $15,000 per acre land as populations shifted and farm became housing. What is happening at this time in these three areas in that sense? ... more
