Any Realtor may have the ability to show rentals to potential tenants. Many times rentals are listed by property managers who may not deal directly with tenants and they have a very slow response rate. Sorry for your frustration but if you ever need a rental or have questions you can call a local Real Estate company and they may be able to help you.

I specialize in helping first time home buyers but I also show rentals to people all the time. Good luck in your search!

rentals for 1 or 2 bedrooms in that area go from $1100/month - $1400/month, difference depends on exact location, condition and sq footage or the unit.

25% down payment should work, there are more factors that a lender will consider than just down payment and credit score. if you need a recommendation for an area lender, feel free to message me. ... more

I'm not exactly sure where they get their information only because when I've gone to these sites, they don't show what our current rentals that are very close by.

I'd use them anyway just to get an idea.

You would do a cash out refinance on the rental property, use the cash to pay off the HELOC debt. This can usually be done in one transaction and the payoff can be handled by the settlement agent.

You would get investor rates, programs and restrictions on the cash-out refi. Look at some options, they may not be as good as your HELOC rates/terms.

Yes, all buyers can ask their agent for a 'rebate'. You can ask, but it doesn't mean your agent is willing or able to provide a rebate - as Diana says, it's not all their money. Most brokers have an approval process for granting rebates.

Talk to your agent about it, and review any agreement you have with him or her.

You need to have your home looked at by a pro. There are many variables to pricing than what you mentioned. There are a lot of homes on the market that are over priced. ... and of course those remain. Most neighborhoods have only seen less than 6% increase, since last year. Let me know if you would like me to send you a market update for that area. Thanks. ... more
