Typically you get more home for your money with a pre-existing home.
I suggest looking into both of them before making a decision.

These are answers you best find by calling the local police department. I am attaching a link in regards to Greenville but remember that crime rates include from real small infractions up to major crimes. Greenville is a college town. ECU which besides being known as a good academic school, has a history of being somewhat of a party school as well.... My son when he was younger had friends at ECU and would drive over to spend the weekend just because of the parties :-) Parties typically will generate some calls to the police which then has a direct correlation to the crime ratings. Matt's program sounds like a winner! That is like having your cake and eating it to, provided cost of loan and interest rate are competitive.

I would recommend checking our area mortgage reps to see if something like that is available and check his rate, costs and references...it may be just what works best for you.

Best Wishes.
