Pat,
River Town Village IS a 55+ Active Adult Community. Unit 21 is not actively showing in the Realtors® Multiple Listing Service at this time. The last listing for this property was as a newly constructed property back in 2008. I also do not see any online listings for this property as a For Sale By Owner either. If you are interested in Windsor and the surrounding area (or anywhere in Hartford County), I would be glad to assist you...you can reach me at 860-688-1400. lisa@masterskeyrealty.com ... more

Hi Fran.

The legal definition of Primary dwelling (residence) refers to a dwelling where a person usually lives. It may be a house or apartment, and at a given time, a person shall not have more than one primary residence. Primary residence is the legal residence of an individual, for purposes of income tax calculation or for acquiring a mortgage. Generally a person’s primary residence is determined based on the mailing address, telephone listing, the time spent at the residence per year and such other factors.

Regardless of what it is, one home must be designated as the primary residence, and only one home is allowed to be designated as the primary residence. This serves for things, such as tax purposes, census figures, educational opportunities and the like.

In any case, someone who has a primary home and at least one secondary residence may find the need to change the primary residence from one to the other. An official change in primary residence requires certain other changes in order to be fully effective.

Hi Jessbein -

Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, I am not sure which of my listings you are inquiring about.

If it is about the new rental listing for $985, there is 1 assigned parking space directly in front of the unit plus visitor parking. I do, however, have an offer on it. I am just waiting to get the credit report back and verify references.

Please let me know if this is the property you were inquiring about. If the credit or references do not come back favorable, I can let you know.

Hi Mona,
This house was a short sale and since it was on the market for well over a year, I am making the guess that it is going to be foreclosed on and become bank owned. Keep checking...it will probably be back on the market soon. ... more

John Ching answered:
Hi John,

The home on 309 Rood Ave was completely renovated. Renovation include new roof, new kitchen, flooring, interior paint, etc. It is almost like a new home. The average prices provided by Trulia does not take the condition of homes in consideration nor does it take in consideration the circumstances of the sale (i.e. foresclosures, short sales, etc.). To do an accurate comparison in price or market analysis for a home, the condition of the home, and circumstances need to be considered. I hope this answers your question.
