An agent can look up recent sales for you, including how much they sold for. Are you looking for something in Winchester?

Evening Ronit, I would check your local registry of deeds online website for the property in question you are looking to find information about. For Winchester, you would vist: http://www.masslandrecords.com/middlesexsouth/ In the header, click on search options and select property search. There you can find public records of the transaction.

As for updates at Trulia, I would expect their content to be updated dynamically based on feed data from the listing services, however, if the listing was manually updated by the previous agent, it could have broken the data connection.

Hope that helps!

Thank you,

Buyer BEWARE! We purchased and installed two rooms of the Morning Star Bamboo flooring this past fall. It was touted as being the hardest flooring available and care free...Ours is cupping in both rooms and scratches abound as well. LL refuses to come look and have only sent a letter stating we must have done something wrong or have a water leak in our foundation. LL does not stand behind their product. We don't have any water pipes in our foundation (mani-block system). We don't have humidity issues since we have a Lennox A/C-heater system that maintains it at 40% typically year round.

We used their products to place it down. It was easy to do and it looked nice for about 6 weeks...We use the cleaning products and process they told us to follow as well. Our home has never had any water or moisture concerns, though simply looking at pictures we sent to them, they say we do.

We liked the green aspects, but have wasted $4K doing it...

Hi Geoff- I am an Associate Broker for EXIT Group One in Tewksbury Massachusetts (right next to Wilmington) I have been a full time agent for 12 years in the area and am very familiar with the surrounding areas.

When working with a buyer, I take a very consultive approach, packaging their wants and needs into a home that works for the buyer. I especially enjoy working with relocations and enjoy bringing all the information together for them to find the right community and the right home to live in. Please feel free to call me at 978-360-0422.

1) Get yourself an exclusive buyer's agent, someone who does not and will not represent the seller in your purchase. This way you will get full attention and unbiased answers to questions like these. The more educated you are about the market and the property your are considering to purchase, the smarter choices you will make;

2) If the right of way is simply a driveway to another home that shouldn't impact your use of the home of interest. However, there are a few questions you should ask about the ROW, for instance, does the driveway cut up your yard in any way? Who is in charge of maintenance of the driveway (shared cost or paid by other home owner)?

Easements and ROW's are not uncommon so don't drop the property from your list until you have answered all the necessary questions.

Hi Amy,
One of the problems with sites on the Net that only sell ads or just collect email addresses to resell, is that the info on their pages is often meant to cause you to provide your email and name for resale.
I'd spread the word to use actual real estate professionals' sites rather than ones where the correctness of the data is not as important as gathering and selling your name and email to the highest bidders.
