Dual agency is a situation in which an agent represents more than one party in the transaction. Thus, if an agent has the listing and the potential buyer, a "dual agency" has been created.

These relationships should be handled carefully and in a manner that does not have the agent favoring one side over the other. Some individuals feel it's impossible for an agent to represent both the buyer and seller equally, without favoritism. What do you think?
