You could try calling Westbury Apartments in Willow Grove on Terwood Road. They have one and two bedroom apartments starting around $810.00. It is really hard finding apartments in Willow Grove at the price you can afford to pay. Best of luck to you.... more
Willow Grove has a large mix of neighborhoods. It is located in Upper Moreland Twp that provides many recreational opportunities, shopping, good schools, and a suburban feel but still close to the activities of the city.

I am familiar with the development and condo fees are not negotiable. However once you become an owner you can plead your case with the HOA board. I own a condo in willow grove and the fees are $412 per month. This is due in part to mismanagement of the association over time. I would be wary of buying where fees are really high as over time these properties become less affordable to the owners and delinquencies tend to increase which puts a bigger burden in those that pay. Also you will be surprised how much more you can afford if the fees were lower. For example a $150 a month fee equates to $30,000 less in mortgage that you can afford. I some cases yes, in most that money is better used for such things as. Only a comparison of recent solds similar to your home with and without AC will tell you. As an agent with over 15 years in this business I cant think of a home that adding an AC was the best use of $3,000.00. Ask your Realtor to do a walk through. Keeping this budget in mind, mention the AC and ask for a cost benifit comparison.... more
