We understand and share your concern and apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this has caused. After we dug into this feature further, we found that it is not widely used in the Trulia community. For that reason, Boards were discontinued on Trulia. Moving forward, please be assured you will still be able to access all your saved homes in your Saved Homes and Saved Rentals tabs, as currently available today.

HUD Homes are homes that typically need some work done. The upside of buying a HUD Home is that you can get an excellent deal via bidding on the HUDHomestore. Try contacting Home Loans For All. We've sent quite a few clients to them that were interested in HUD Homes. They have HUDHomestore access and they have multiple lenders that deal a lot in HUD Home. I'll include a link to them.

Best of luck!

Great question! It's certainly possible to qualify for a new loan in your current situation. Some things to consider would be that you may need to present a letter of employment from your future employer that would indicate your start date. Best place to start would be discussing your needs with a loan officer in the state you are moving to. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to me. ... more

Hello, I'm a mortgage professional.

If you plan on keeping your current home you can refinance the home and use the equity from the refinance for a down payment.

If you plan on selling the home you can sue the funds from the sale for the down payment.

There are also low and no money down mortgage programs available.

If you would like help with this or have any questions you are welcome to get in touch with me.

No a bank cannot be held liable for failing to close a loan. Even though you feel you met all the requirements to obtain a loan, if the loan does not make business sense they are not going to execute.

There are any number of factors that could come in to play. It has to make money for the lender.
