Hello Jeanie,

After further review, this address is within the boundary of La Habra High School in the neighboring city of La Habra. It is part of the Fullerton Joint Union High School District, even though the physical address is in the city of Whittier. I toured that house a few weeks ago. It has an open lay out with a large back yard that has a view of the surrounding hillside neighborhood. The front yard has a peek-a-boo view of the city lights. The property was for sale, but is now a rental. This is a very nice area at the top of the hill.

I hope this helps you in your decision to rent this home.

If you have any questions, or you would like to look at other properties in the area to purchase, please don't hesitate to call me.

I've thought about this recently, when I heard that a lot of High Schools don't have lockers anymore because of drugs / weapons being brought to school & stored in them. I can't imagine having to carry so many textbooks around all day with no place to store books not needed for the 1st 1/2 of the day.

I think you should petition with other parents, the school your kids go to (if they don't have lockers), and possibly hire an attorney to send a strongly worded letter to the principal. If that doesn't work, contact a local reporter & have them do a story in front of the school to bring attention to weight of backpacks & concern over future medical problems.
