Be sure to review the condo CC&R's, meeting minutes, and budget when you are in escrow. Talking to the neighbors is a great option. Usually, their are residents on the HOA board in the building that can fill you in on a fee question.

This property is not currently on the market..the asking price was $795,000
with homeowner dues of $1,231,72
Unfortunately, Trulia puts the amount the homeowner is in default as the sale price. It's very disappointing to the buyer like yourself when searching for a great deal.
There's currently 3 listings in that same building 2160 Century Park East..listed at $545,000 $559,00 and $631,00 all 2 bed and regular sales.

there is nothing in this building listed that low. this is a full service building built in 2000 and the only 1 bedroom condo available here is priced at $3,719/mo on the second floor. there are (2) 2 bedrooms priced between $4,000 - 4,400/mo.

This looks like one of many rental frauds currently on the Internet. The actual list price for the property which was listed with a reputable real estate agent was $4900 and that was the reported lease price as well. Too good to be true is usually a scam. Be very wary of giving someone your personal info or deposit. Using a local agent helps as well! ... more
