I looked him up in our proprietary MLS tax records and am not comfortable with sharing with you his name and current address on this public forum. This owner borrowed $343k in 2006 and last price he had was 275k so it was probably a short sale. His address now is different than the posting. Also, no records in the MLS so maybe this was an auction site that fed auction info to trulia as a list price when in fact it was a starting bid. You should have access to county records to find the man's name and then google it for his current address. goof luck ... more

Are you the buyer of this home? You should have been provided an Illinois Sellers Disclosure when you wrote a contract which would disclose information on any defective plumbing if they were known to the seller. Westchester, IL also requires an inspection from the village. You should have also had a home inspection completed once your contract was accepted. Did your inspector find any plumbing issues? If so, did you ask the seller to repair these items?

If there were issues to be repaired according to your contract and they weren't completed, I would contact the attorney that assisted you on your purchase.
