Well someone was stabbed this morning here... there is frequent drug activity in the back buildings. Do your homework on which apartment you are renting. Interview the neighbors. There are better options. We have lived here less than a year. ... more

Hi Merlyn,

Your best bet is to either google crime statistics for the area or go to local police station and they will actually print out for you a report.
I believe even Trulia has these statistics if a home is listed on their site.

If you need further assistance I know the area well. I would be happy to help you

Is amazing to see how many agents are willing to Lie about the area. Never take an agent's word on the neighborhood. For one: they can't say anything that may sound or is discriminatory.

1. Get a Police Report and look at the crime rate over a 2-5 mile Radius.

You couldn't pay me enough money to live on Tamarind Ave/Area. Especially, North of Okeechobee.
Yes, they cleaned it up. Put up pretty buildings and the area is up in coming. I still wouldn't live there!

Good Luck :)

Buy on the beach or as close to it as you can afford. That is why this area of Florida was originally inhabited. You can live in the woods or some urban sprawl anywhere in the United States for a lot less money and a lot less satisfaction. In Florida, you want to be near the beach. There are plenty of great communities that are affordable near the beach. Follow your heart, and find someone that will help you get what you are really looking for. ... more

What you see listed as West palm Beach on the internet is
a wide area of which the actual City of West Palm Beach is a sub-set.
Some 13 zip codes give the title of " West Palm Beach." Huge differences
in prices ,characteristics and schooling!
There is something for everyone almost- where in the mix you fit depends!

Dear Paul,

Both of these communities offer great homes and will give you a great return on your investment. Osprey has more homes backing up to the golf course, yet Madison Green is a great community as well.

What it will come down to is how much you want to spend on your new home and if you have a preference in the actual style of the home in either community as well as the view of the homes.

There are quiet a few factors to decide on which one is the perfect home for you, however I do believe you can't go wrong with either one of the communities.

Let me know if you would like to get a current list of all homes available in these communities.

I've lived in Riverwalk since 2007 and it is wonderful. There are a range of ages in the community from young families to retirees. I would say that the majority of the people that live here are over 50 however. The community itself is beautiful and well kept, at any time of the morning, afternoon, or evening you will find people walking their dogs, jogging, or biking along the well maintained sidewalk of the 3.3 mile circle that the houses are arranged around. The crime rate is low and with the 24 hour manned gate I felt safe jogging alone even at night. There are 3 swimming pools (one of which is a dedicated lap pool just off the fitness center), a large number of clay tennis courts and shuffle board courts within the community. Everything is exceptionally well maintained.
I am a 32 year old professional and am currently selling my capri (7748 Nile River Rd) due to a new job further south. I would reccomend this community to anyone, it is truly a gem.

what you feel your needs are and where in either city you can
be shown circumstances that address these needs!.
Another way to go is to look ot available schools in areas you
