Trust me it is not optional. I can see why you may think it is. There are any number of liens that could be against this home that are not self evident.
Tax liens, judgements from unpaid credit cards unpaid bills, and legal actions. Someone else could have a unpaid mortgage on the property. ... more

It's really hard to find good Alzheimer's care. We had a very hard time finding a good way to take care of my grandmother. We all care about her but it is very time consuming. She really needs 24/7 supervision in order to stay safe. I hope your problem is resolved soon.

The public records are not always accurate, but it is something that you should check-out. I just had to fix a similar problem on my mother’s house as I wanted to make sure this didn’t raise a red flag when she tries to sell. It could be an unpermitted addition or just a miscalculation on the part of the assessor. In my mom’s case it was because the assessor didn’t include the enclosed breezeway in the square footage even though it was in the permit that way. It was a 300 square foot difference. ... more
