Hello Branden,
I've included how to contact CMS Student Placement. It is always a good idea to contact CMS directly for accurate information about the current school assignments for a particular address. This is their contact information:‎
Placement Specialist Smith Application Center 1600 Tyvola Road Charlotte, NC 28210. Phone: 980-343-5335. Fax: 980-343-5661.
This way you won't have to question where the assignments might be. The folks who answer the phone are very helpful.

Hello Del,

As for "tornado belt" I am unaware of any such label in Charlotte NC. That nick name is usually for the Mid-West USA ie OK, MO, OH, TX NE and other states also referred to as the heartland.

If you would like to find out more about the other items like Racial tensions and Gangs, it is illegal for REALTOR to give labels like that to any area. It would be in violation of the Fair Housing Act. TO better assist you , please visit the or for more specific advice and assistance.

Charlotte area REALTORS are an excellent source for information along with several different publications that can be picked up for free in the lobby of most grocery stores that show what kind of events they have in that specific area of town for all people including seniors, retirees working moms, and job seekers. The Chamber of Commerce is also a great resource.
