Homes priced at "lot value" are generally in poor condition. Although it was listed as inhabitable, you likely would either have to tear it down and rebuild, or invest an inordinate amount to bring it to livable condition. our home needs to be evaluated by a Realtor to determine what today's market will bring ... every property is different. Best of luck. ... more

Hello Rachel,

The bedrooms are specified at 14X18, 14X10, 14X10. If this is very important to you, I strongly suggest that you measure them or have someone measure them for you. This is in the construction phase still.

As my peers have stated, please find a Buyer' Agent to represent you (at no cost to you), so they can guide you on the transaction.

You should get an inspection even if it is a new home.

Please let me know if I can help with any questions.

Yes, it looks like there is a yard!!!

Others looked at the bird view, but also look at the satellite view. The green indicator shows a older home, but I believe the home is the newer 3 story home (there are 4 of them in a row). That satellite view shows a backyard! In fact, 2 of the 4 homes that would be your neighbors have pools!!

Now, a possible issues. On the "road view" under maps, pull back a bit. You will see a train switching yard 2 blocks north of this home. May or may not be a noise issue, would HIGHLY advise driving in the area at night and listen. Of course it will be less noisy inside any home, but something to consider if you will be using your backyard.

The "Washington Ave" area just east of Memorial Park is very popular and offers a wide range of home prices, ages, etc. Not much in the way of yards as you have seen. Don't forget to look north of I-10 in the Heights area. If we can assist you, please let us know as we work in these areas. I sold a home backing to a small city park in the area last fall.

This is a slightly old post from last week, but here is the answer. This home seems to be under construction, however, there is a pending contract on it already. It generally takes about 4 months for a house to be completed barring any natural occurrences that might deter the momentum. It seems like you might be interested in this area of town. Can I help you with similar properties? If you are not working with an agent already, please let me know so you can have some representation on your side without any charge to you. I will assist you through all the steps of the transaction. I can explain more once you are ready.
