The best part of Lake Forest Park is the location. You are minutes away from downtown, movies, night life, and fun.

Hi Rich,

There are a couple of new pub style bars in the Manito area on the south hill. The first one I would suggest would be Manito Tap House ( on 29th and Grand, this pub only opened 7-10 days ago so I'm sure they're still working out the kinks but they have 150+ beers on tap as well as a full bar and I've heard great things about it!

Another option would be the Hop Shop a little further up the hill on 38th and Grand, they have beer and wine only but it's a cute little place.

Another great place on the south hill is the Two Seven Public House ( in the Lincoln Heights shopping area on 29th. Nice patio here too!

Lindaman's ( on 13th and Grand is a great place too and they have a full bar but it's not really a traditional pub.

Hope you find a fun place to hang out at on the south hill! Cheers :)

Hi Brittany,
You will find Spokane to be a warm and wonderful community. We have a great downtown, home of the 1974 World's Fair. There is something going on every weekend during the summer.....concerts in the local parks......vibrant nightlife and nightclub scene and of course lots of recreational activities. I agree, Browne's Addition is a wonderful place to live. It's within walking distance of downtown. I lived there for many years and loved it! You might also like the South Hill. Spokane is full of educational opportunities. There's Whitworth College, Gonzaga College, 2 Community Colleges and satellite campuses for Eastern Washington University and Washington State University. There are also several private colleges and schools. Price of renting a home in Spokane depends on location and amenities. ($500-1,000) The average sales price of a home in Spokane is approximately $200,000....more or less....again depending on location and amenities. I wish you well in your search and if there is anything I can do to assist you, please let me know. Kathy ... more
