Yes, it's a lousy restaurant called Southern Comfort.

The staff at this restaurant doesn’t know its policies. It doesn’t keep its website up-to-date. I was overcharged & issued a $15 credit. I asked if I could use my multiple coupons (1 per entrée) with the credit & was told I could. Tonight’s manager, Jason White, would only honor 1 even though I told him I had done it before & was told it was no problem. The food is ok. The prices are ok considering quality & portion size. However, you never know what you’ll encounter. Imagine if you called & asked if you could use multiple coupons & were told yes. After dinner, when paying the check, you’re told they will only honor 1. It could happen to anyone. They don't care about their customers. I can't imagine anyone doing this to a repeat customer who had placed previous orders & not been told there was a problem. Incompetence shouldn’t be encouraged. Customer abuse shouldn’t be tolerated. I suggest eating elsewhere. They don't bother to train their employees, & they punish their customers. ... more

Ask a local Realtor to suggest a good lender and talk with him or her. I suspect his score and income will need to be high enough for the loan. Unless you have a source of income I don't think your good score will help. Of course if you have an income both of you could go on the loan. ... more

If the bid is over what VA has agreed to pay for then they will reduce their contribution to closing costs or increase purchase price by that amount if appraisal allows. I tell all my buyers and sellers the same thing: The closer the buyer gets to list price the more apt the seller is to help out with closing costs and the further away from list price, the less apt they are to help out with closing costs. Average list to sale price in this area is 95%-97%. Everything is negotiable and nothing is set in stone. I've had sellers tell me they won't pay anything towards buyers closing costs and other sellers very willing to help out with buyers closing costs and prepaids if it will help get the home sold faster.
